About the Thane Integral Ring Metro Project
The Thane Metro project is set to establish a 29-kilometre corridor along the western periphery of Thane city, which will include 22 stations. The Project is estimated to cost ₹ 12,200.10 crore,. The Project will be financed with equal equity from the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Maharashtra (GoM), as well as part-funding from bilateral agencies. The project is expected to become operational by 2029.
