The Thane Ring Metro is a 29 km circular corridor under construction in Thane, Maharashtra, planned as one of India’s first intra-city ring metros. Of its 22 stations, two are to be underground on a 3 km section, with the rest elevated. Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha-Metro) is the implementing agency.

The Union Cabinet approved the roughly ₹12,200 crore project on 14 August 2024, the state government followed on 30 September 2024, and the foundation stone was laid on 5 October 2024. Civil construction has begun in the Ghodbunder area, with the line expected to open around 2029.
