
SURAT (Metro Rail News): HFCL (Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited) has declared that it has secured a contract from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited amounting to Rs 282 crore. As per the agreement, the company will be responsible for establishing telecommunication systems for the Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-I of GMRC. The expected timeline for the project to be completed is ninety weeks.
According to HFCL, the work scope involves the production, design, testing, supply, installation, and commissioning of telecommunications systems for the first phase of the Surat Metro Rail Project. This project is a significant milestone for HFCL, as it enables the company to expand its presence in the rapidly growing Indian metro rail market.
