মুম্বই (মেট্রো রেল নিউজ): দক্ষিণ পশ্চিম রেল বৃহস্পতিবার হাটগি-কুডগি-গাদাগ (284 কিলোমিটার) থেকে দ্বিগুণকরণ প্রকল্পের অংশ হিসাবে 33 কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ লাচিয়ান-হটগি সেকশনের উন্নয়নের কাজ শুরু করেছে, যা রেলওয়ে বোর্ড দ্বারা 2014-15-এ অনুমোদিত হয়েছিল।
এই পথটি বিজাপুর ও শোলাপুর জেলার মাধ্যমে কর্ণাটককে মহারাষ্ট্রের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত করে। ট্র্যাকটি ভীমা নদীর উপর 670 মিটার দীর্ঘ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেতুর মধ্য দিয়ে যায়, যা এই অঞ্চলের দীর্ঘতম সেতু, যার 14টি স্প্যান 45.7 মিটার, যা এখন এই পথের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উন্নয়ন হিসাবে দেখা হচ্ছে
কোভিড-19 মহামারীর কারণে দেশব্যাপী লকডাউন ভারতীয় রেলের জন্য একটি সুযোগে পরিণত হয়েছে কারণ এটি নির্ধারিত সময়সীমার মধ্যে মূল বিভাগগুলিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গুরুত্বের 200 টি প্রকল্পের বকেয়া সাফ করেছে।
চলতি বছরের 25শে মার্চ মহামারী এবং দেশব্যাপী লকডাউনের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে ভারতীয় রেল যাত্রী ট্রেন পরিষেবা স্থগিত করার ফলে, এটি ইয়ার্ড পুনর্নির্মাণ, পুরানো সেতুগুলির মেরামত ও পুনর্নির্মাণ, রেলের দ্বিগুণকরণ এবং বিদ্যুতায়ন এবং কাঁচি ক্রসওভারগুলির পুনর্নবীকরণ সহ মুলতুবি রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের কাজগুলি সম্পন্ন করার সুযোগ পেয়েছে। সারা দেশে সমস্ত রুটে উন্নয়নের কাজ দ্রুত গতিতে চলছে কারণ বেশিরভাগ যাত্রীবাহী ট্রেন পরিষেবা স্থগিত করা রেলপথকে তার মুলতুবি এবং অন্যান্য রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের কাজ শেষ করার আরও ভাল সুযোগ প্রদান করে।

If Indian railways is capable and proven no corruption takes place then why do we have contractors like Mohan Buildcon etc who do such a shabby job,, why does the govt not give all construction work to the Indian Railways or the Army

Great. Railways traditionally carryout pending maintenance work during such forced blockages. Maintenance or special works connected with Track & OHE requires traffic blocks, which are always very scarce. So, during Kissan Rail Roko protests or similar bandh calls, Rly’s engineer plan to crear the backlog
This is Indian brain, turning a adverse condition into advantage.Engineers are acustemed to work in tight schedules.They saw a golden oppurtunity in lock down to exicute such a major block.I salute the Team Railways.
