Patna–Guwahati HSR is a proposed 850 km bullet train corridor planned by NHSRCL to connect Patna and Guwahati across 10 stations. Its route map, stations and latest updates are below.
The Patna-Guwahati High-Speed Rail corridor is a proposed bullet train line of about 850 km planned by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) to extend high-speed rail into the east and northeast, connecting Patna with Guwahati. It is designed for 320 km/h running across about 10 stations.
The corridor is at the proposed stage, with alignment and cost yet to be finalised.
Linked to the Delhi-Kolkata high-speed axis, this corridor would be the first bullet train reach toward the northeast, cutting a long rail journey to a few hours and knitting the region into the national high-speed network.
