HBL Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance ( LoA) from IRCON International Ltd. for the KAVACH contract worth Rs. 101.55 crore, which includes the provision of the Kavach System in the Bangalore and Mysore divisions of South Western Railway.

The contract entails the implementation of the Kavach Automatic Train Protection (ATP) System across 778 kilometres within the Bangalore and Mysore divisions of South Western Railway. The scope includes coverage of 85 stations and integration with two locomotives, which will increase operational safety and signalling efficiency across the designated route.
