CMRL Signs Contract With M/s RVNL Worth Rs. 1,134 Crore for Elevated Corridor & Stations Work in Corridor-03

CHENNAI ( Metro Rail News): On 27 April 2023, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) and M/s Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) signed the Contract Agreement for Contract No. C3- ECV-01. The contract is a Phase II ADB (Asian Development Bank) funds component for Elevated Corridor & Stations Work in Corridor-03  under Loan Agreement No. 4273.

The contract’s scope includes building an elevated viaduct (approximately 10 km in length), nine elevated metro stations (Sholinganallur Lake-I, Sholinganallur Lake-II, Sri Ponniamman Temple, Gandhi Nagar, Sathyabama University, Semmeancheri-I, Semmeancheri-II, Navallur, Siruseri, Siruseri SIPCOT-1, Siruseri SIPCOT-2, and Stabling Viaduct at SIPCOT.

 CMRL issued a Letter of Acceptance to M/s Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) on 10 January 2023 for INR 1134,11,42,182/- (Including Provisional Sum and GST). 

The Contract Agreement is signed by Thiru. T. Archunan, Director (Projects), on behalf of CMRL and Thiru. Chaudhary Rajneesh Kumar Singh, Sr.DGM/Electrical/BD, on behalf of M/s RVNL.

  The CMRL Officials , Thiru. D. Gurunath Reddy, Additional General Manager (CP), Thiru. K. Pratheeban, Joint General Manager (EC) and M/s RVNL were present during the Contract Agreement signing ceremony.
