3 Firms bid for Chennai Metro’s Line-3 Elevated Section

3 Firms bid for Chennai Metro’s Line-3 Elevated Section

CHENNAI (Metro Rail News): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) opened technical bids on Saturday for the work related to construction of Elevated Viaduct of length 10 km approximately for Line-3 of Chennai Metro. It also includes construction of 10 Elevated Metro Stations from Nehru Nagar to Sholinganallur.

Total three firms submitted bids for this contract, tenders for which were invited in February this year with completion period of 1095 days (3 Years).  However, the estimated cost for this work is not known. The names of three bidders are –

  1. When will it completed all corridors. If fare is affordable one, then utility of the services will attract return of money spent on these projects much early due to increased patronage.
