Mumbai Metro | MMRC awards Metro III corridor contracts to L&T, HCC

Mumbai: The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation has awarded civil contracts to five contractors for the entire section of 33.5 km for implementation in seven packages with a total cost of construction pegged at Rs 18,114.9 crore.

Infrastructure and engineering major L&T with its JV partner STEC, China, has bagged a total contract of Rs 5,269.98 crore for package-1 stations (Rs 2,988.53 crore) comprising Cuffe Parade, Vidhan Bhavan, Churchgate, Hutatma chowk and package 7 (Rs 2,281.45 crore) for Marol Naka, MIDC, SEEPZ stations.
