
NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): The work for India’s first bullet train project is on track. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) which will be part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor recently floated its second high-value tender for design and construction of India’s first undersea tunnel for Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor.
The bullet train corridor from BKC to Kalyan Shilphata will have a 21 Km underground corridor in Maharashtra and the bids have been invited for this 7 km stretch undersea tunnel will be constructed under the sea bed.
