JAIPUR (Metro Rail News): The Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited (RMRCL) has invited bids for constructing a significant segment of the Jaipur Metro Phase II project. This package covers the design and construction of an elevated metro corridor alongside 12 elevated stations, including architectural finishing works. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,331.58 cr.

Scope of work
The chosen contractor will design and construction of elevated viaduct and 12 elevated stations (including architectural finishing) viz. Collectorate, Panipech, Ambabari, Chomu Puliya, Vidhya Nagar Sec-2, Vidhya Nagar, VKI Road No 5, VKI Road No 9, VKI Road No. 14, Harmada, Harmada Ghati & Todi Mod under Jaipur Metro Phase- II MRTS.
About Jaipur Metro Phase II
Jaipur Metro Phase-II will expand the city’s metro network and improve public transport connections in growing areas of Jaipur. This project is part of a program funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and it is being implemented by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited (RMRCL). It is approximately 41 km long North-South transit corridor, which connects Prahladpura to Todi Mod. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is expected to lay the foundation of this project on 4th of July.
