About Pune Metro’s Purple Line

Operational route: Currently, the Purple Line of Pune Metro is operational from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to Swargate, spanning 16.59 km through 13 stations.
In September 2024, the Purple Line’s extension from Civil Court to Swargate became operational. This section spans 3.3 km and features 3 new stations.
Purple Line’s northern extension between PCMC and Bhakti Shakti (under construction) covers 4.519 km.
The extension from Swargate to Katraj spans 5.464 km and features 3 stations. The tender has been invited for the same section.
