INDORE (Metro Rail News): If work on three flyovers proposed on Ring Road is started in Indore, then it will indirectly delay the work of the metro rail project, fear city planners and engineers. Apart from this, thousands of people who use the Ring Road will also face traffic jams, similar to the one faced during the construction of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee bridge (Pipliyahana flyover) and are still facing on account of the ongoing construction of Bengali Square Flyover according a news report.

”Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday announced the construction of five flyovers of which three flyovers (at Radisson Square, Robot Square and Khajrana Square) will come in way of the track of Metro Rail (Line 3) which is under development. There are also three platforms of Metro Rail planned in the stretch from Radisson Square to Bengali Square”, it said.
“It is possible to have the metro above the flyover, but the cost will increase by around Rs 10 cr for every 100 metres. At present the metro project is already delayed and the flyovers will delay it further”, the report added..

(Image via https://twitter.com/TheTRBusiness)

Smart trains and the enhancement of the Urban Transport System represent a look into the future of train technology in India, but technological innovation is already gracing India’s trains. Whether it’s smartphones or sophisticated laptops, the public is embracing the technological revolution.

Technological advancements are sweeping the world. There’s a gadget for practically everything these days, be it satellite navigation systems which help us get the best route possible, fitness trackers like Fitbit watches that are enabling people to stay on top of their health and exercise, or smartphones that are capable of hosting the best YouTube videos or ideal for playing at casino.com/in online, where games like Book of Dead and Jaguar Gold look better than ever before thanks to the upgrades made with mobile phones. Most gadgets can be enjoyed while taking the train, too. Some of them are specifically designed for train travel. Nevertheless, most of the gadgets which are popular in the travel industry tend to be suitable for taking on the train also.

With numerous gadgets entering the market regularly, we thought we’d go through some of the best devices for train travel in 2021.

Evolution S3 Travel Pillow

Travelling by train isn’t always the most comfortable of experiences, especially if you’re making a long journey across the country. To give your seat an extra bit of comfort, try using an Evolution S3 Travel Pillow, which is not only hugely comfortable, but it straps to the back of most seats easily and helps prevent your head from falling sideways or forwards thanks to its clever design.

PowerCore 20100 Power Bank

Travelling by train can lead to numerous disruptions or delays, therefore leaving you with just your mobile phone device as a way of contacting work or loved ones. If your phone were to run out of battery, though, then you then can’t get hold of anyone. Likewise, if you’re using your phone for work all day and jumping on the train after train it can take its toll on your battery. Thanks to the PowerCore 20100 Power Bank, this external battery has you covered should the worst happen. It comes with two USB ports too, meaning you can charge two devices at the same time.

Pacsafe Travelsafe GII Portable Safe

Keep all of your things safe with this portable travel safe. It can be locked to your luggage or nearby to you on the train (perhaps a seat or handle?), therefore keeping your valuables locked away and hard to get to for any opportunistic thieves.

Digital Burrito Pouch

Carrying a laptop around with the wires and cables that come with it can be a hassle, especially if you’re on a packed train and certain bits and pieces keep poking out of your bag, or you’re unsure exactly where everything is located should you need to get to it. To keep all of your chargers, wires, pens and the like safe, try purchasing a Digital Burrito Pouch by Jansport. It fits easily into your backpack or briefcase, and it takes care of any annoying cables or wires, leaving you to travel safely in the knowledge that everything is neatly tucked away.

TP-LINK M7350 4G Low-Cost Travel Wi-Fi Most commuters need the internet to reply to emails but it isn’t always reliable. To secure your signal and give you confidence surfing the web while on the train, try purchasing a travel router much like the TP-LINK M7350 4G Low-Cost Travel Wi-Fi. It can host up to 10 devices, it’s easy to use, and it comes with an excellent battery which lasts a long time.
