PATNA (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd. (HCC) as the lowest bidder for the underground tunnelling contracts, PC05 of Patna Metro’s Line-1. Line 1 of the Patna Metro spans 16.86 km between Danapur Cantonment and Khemni Chak.
In December 2023, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) floated a tender for this contract, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,683 crore. Technical bids were opened in October, revealing that five firms have submitted bids for the Package PC05 of the Patna Metro.

About Package PC05 Of Patna Metro
Contract Deadline: 42 months
Funding: The Package PC05 will be financed through a loan fromthe Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The scope of work under this package includes the construction of twin tunnels, an Underground Ramp at Mithapur and the construction of three underground Metro Stations.
