The order involves the manufacturing and supply of 780 BVCM-C wagons, specifically designed to meet the requirements outlined by the Ministry of Railways. This contract is entirely domestic, indicating that both the manufacturing and supply processes will take place within India.

The company’s capability to secure and fulfil such substantial orders underscores its robust manufacturing prowess and its strong connections with governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Railways.

Recently, Titagarh also signed a long-term lease agreement with the Government of West Bengal on 12 July 2025, for a 40-acre land parcel, valued at a total of ₹126.63 crore, under a 99-year lease arrangement to address the increasing demand for rolling stock in the rail transport sector.
