NCC Bags Rolling Stock, Signalling & PSD contract for Mumbai Metro Line 6

MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): NCC Ltd has received LoA worth 2,269 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for executing various critical works in Package 1-CA-232 of Line 6 of the Mumbai Metro. Metro Line-6 spans 15.31 km between Swami Samarth Nagar and Vikhroli (EEH).

MMRDA’s Scope of Work

Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Integration, Testing and Commissioning of Rolling Stock, Communication Based Signaling & Train Control, Telecommunication, Platform Screen Doors Systems and Depot Machinery & Plant including 5 Years of Comprehensive Maintenance After 2 Years of Defect Liability Maintenance Period of Line 6 [Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (EEH)] of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA.

NCC Ltd reported a 6% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, reaching ₹253.8 crore. The company also announced order inflows during the fiscal, having secured fresh contracts amounting to ₹32,888 crore.

As of March 31, 2025, NCC’s consolidated order book stood at ₹71,568 crore, reflecting a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects.
