Mumbai Metro Update: Rahee Emerges as the Lowest Bidder for Track Work on 11.38 Km-long Line 9 

Rahee Infratech has been declared the lowest bidder for contract CA-167, with the lowest bid of 91.86 Crores.

MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): MMRDA has declared Rahee Infratech the lowest bidder in the 11.38 Km long metro Line 9 of the Mumbai metro running from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayandar. 

The metro line has a total of 8 elevated stations. The elevated section is currently under construction by J Kumar Infraprojects, which includes several double-decker sections. 

Package CA-167 involves the installation of standard gauge tracks at the northern leg of the city’s Red Line, which will eventually connect Mira Bhayandar-Dahisar East– Andheri East- CSIA Terminal 2 through 23 stations. MMRDA’s estimated budget for the package was officially listed at INR 88.28 crores + GST, while Rahee’s bid amounts to INR 77.85 Crore + GST. 

Mumbai metro Line 9 is an extension of Line 7, 13.581 km long, with ten stations. It will boost the connectivity among the existing Western Express Highway, Western Railways, and Metro lines 2A & 7. It will reduce the current travel time by 50%-755 depending upon road conditions.
