PATNA (Metro Rail News): Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd. (HCC) has been declared as the lowest bidder for the underground tunnelling contracts, PC06 of Patna Metro’s Line-1 by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Line 1 of the Patna Metro spans 16.86 km from Danapur Cantonment to Khemni Chak.
In December 2023, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) issued a tender in December 2023 with an estimated cost of Rs. 1377 Crore. Furthermore, Technical bids were opened in October to reveal that 5 firms have submitted for the Package PC06 of the Patna Metro.

About Package PC06 Of Patna Metro
Contract Deadline: 42 months
Funding: The Package PC06 will be financed through a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The scope of work under this package includes the construction of twin tunnels, an Underground Ramp at Rukanpura and the construction of three Underground Metro Stations.
