Phase 1 of the Ahmedabad Metro currently features two operational corridors covering a combined length of 39.26 km. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for this phase was prepared by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in February 2014, and the project received approval from the central government on October 18, 2014, with an estimated cost of Rs. 10,773 crore.
