5 Firms Bid for Track Work Contract PT-09 of Patna Metro

Patna (Metro Rail News): The Patna Metro project advanced as the DMRC revealed 5 firms who have submitted the bids to install ballastless standard gauge tracks ( Package PT-09) on Phase 1’s Priority Corridor. The 6.107 km long priority corridor on Line 2 features 5 elevated stations: Malahi Pakri, Khemni Chak, Bhootnath, Zero Mile and New ISBT.

The construction of the priority corridor is being carried out under Package PC-01. This civil package was awarded to NCC Ltd. in September 2020 with a deadline of 30 months.

In November 2024, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) floated a tender for this track work contract with a Rs. 24.89 crore estimate and a 6-months (180 days) deadline. Furthermore, on 31 December, technical bids were opened to reveal the names of bidders.

Further Information 

The 5 bids submitted for this contract will be now sent for technical evaluation. After the completion of technical evaluation, the financial bids will be opened for the technically qualified bidders to reveal the lowest bidder for the contract.
