Bangalore (Metro Rail News): Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited( BMRCL) announced on 5 October that the commencement of operations on Bangalore Metro’s Phase 2 Yellow Line has been delayed.
BMRCL mentioned that 3 train sets out of 15 trains for Yellow Line will be available by Nov- Dec 2024 and the CMRS inspection will be conducted in the same month leading to operations to begin in January 2025 on Yellow Line.
The testing with prototype trains provided by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) is under progress. The full fleet of 15 trains is expected to be operational by August 2025.

The rolling stock contract for Bangalore Metro Yellow Line was awarded to CRCC later the contract got cancelled and Titagarh Rail System Limited was awarded the contract.
Titagarh will be delivering 2 trains every month and is expected to complete the contract of 15 rolling stocks for Yellow Line by August 2025.
Already hosa road traffic is unbearable. Now this is open with out proprer parking is going to kill that road
Very happy for new line. When you are going to start metro line from Mysore road to jpnaghar 4 th phase via verabdranaghar, PES College hoskerahalli, katriguppe, kamakya, devegowda petrol bunk,kaderenahalli, Banashankari metro station
If this is the case here, I doubt that even the already delayed blue line will take atleast 5 more years.
