Ashwini Vaishnaw Inspects Surat Stretch of Bullet Train Project

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Japan’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism Hiromasa Nakano jointly reviewed the progress of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project during an inspection visit to the Surat stretch.

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said that Nakano, accompanied by Vaishnaw, visited the construction site at Surat: “The two Ministers reviewed key components of the project, including the track slab laying car and the track slab adjustment facility and also expressed satisfaction with the quality standards being followed and commended the rapid pace of construction”. As reported by The Indian Express.
