Delhi Metro: 5 Firms Bid for Contract D2C-02 of Golden Line’s Saket to Lajpat Nagar Extension

Delhi (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Phase 4 progressed as five firms have submitted bids for the civil construction contract D2C-02 of the Golden Line’s 8.385 km extension from Saket G-Block to Lajpat Nagar.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ( DMRC) floated tender for this contract in January 2025 for Rs. 456.06 crore and a 36-month (3-year) deadline.

About Contract D2C-02 

Funding: The civil contract D2C-02 will be financed through a joint participation of the Government of India, the Government of Delhi and other appropriate means of DMRC.

DMRC’s Brief Scope: Part Design and Construction of Viaduct of Length 7.298 kms. from Chainage 1202.782 m to Chainage 8501.25 m including seven (07) stations (Only platforms) namely Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj and Lajpat Nagar including Pre-Engineered Building Structure in all stations of Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block Corridor of Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project. 

Further Information 

The bids submitted by 5 firms have been sent for technical bid evaluation. Once technical bid evaluation is completed, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to announce the lowest bidder for the contract.
