NEW DELHI, INDIA (Metro Rail News): TransLink Infrastructure Consultants got the tender of making General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) develop DPR’s for the new High-Speed Rail (HSR) in India, whose total length is 2365 Km.
The given contract is associated with the four new high-speed rail lines for which surveying works are still going on:
· Delhi – Amritsar High-Speed Rail (approx. 459 km)
· Mumbai – Hyderabad High-Speed Rail (approx. 711 km)
· Chennai – Mysuru High-Speed Rail (approx. 435 km)
· Varanasi – Howrah High-Speed Rail (approx. 760 km)
The NHSRCL has invited bids for this low-cost package by mid-March 2021 with a 240-day deadline. Technical bids were opened in June to announce 25 tenders. During the test, three firms were withdrawn – Dynamic Projects, aXYKno Capital Services and CE Testing Company.

The project’s scope included preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) of Crossing Bridges over Rivers/Canals/Railways and Roads (Expressway, NH, SH and Major District Roads) and GADs of proposed Stations and Maintenance Depots for Detailed Project Report (DPR) of various HSR Corridors (approx. 2365 kms long).
