DELHI (Metro Rail News): Alstom Transport India Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance ( LoA) from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the 10-year train maintenance contract of the Delhi Metro Rail Project.

DMRC invited bids for this contract with a 3650-day deadline. On 21 February 2025, technical bids were opened, revealing that four firms had submitted bids for the contract. The technical evaluation of the submitted bids took place on 9 July 2025. However, during the technical evaluation round, 2 firms’ bids were rejected.
The financial bids were also opened on July 9, 2025, and the financial evaluation took place on August 1, 2025. On the same day, Alstom was awarded the contract and received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the DMRC.
