Bangalore (Metro Rail News): The Bangalore Suburban Railway project advanced as Rail Infrastructure Development Company Karnataka Limited ( K-RIDE) has announced Rahee Infratech Limited as the lowest Bidder for the track contract of Bangalore Suburban Railways’ Corridor 2, which connects Benniganahalli and Chikkabanavara.

Bidding Process
K-RIDE invited bids for this contract in 2024 with a 730-day deadline. Technical bids were opened on 29 October 2024, revealing that 4 firms had submitted bids for the contract.
Technical Evaluation of the submitted bids took place on 5 April 2025. However, 2 firms out of 4 got rejected during this stage.
On 11 April 2025, financial bids of the technically qualified bids were opened, and further it was declared that Rahee Infratech Limited is the lowest Bidder for the contract.
Contract’s Scope of Work
The awarded contractor will be responsible for the installation of ballastless tracks on Corridor 2 of the Bangalore Suburban Railway Project. Additionally, the contract also includes the Ballasted and Special Tracks in Soladevanahalli Depot.
K-RIDE Brief Scope: Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ballastless, Ballasted Track, Fastening System and Turnouts in Corridor 2 from Benniganahalli to Chikkabanavara Chainage (-) 1413 to Chainage 27029, including Ballasted and Special Tracks in Soladevanahalli Depot.
