Building upon the success of Amrit Bharat 1.0 and Amrit Bharat 2.0 trainsets, the Ministry of Railways has now taken a step forward to upgrade the passenger services by launching the 3.0 version of Amrit Bharat Trains.
Amrit Bharat Trains made their debut in 2023 with a vision to provide a better travel experience for economically backwards individuals, emphasising the need to serve this segment of society. The fare structure for these trains has been designed to remain affordable to ensure accessibility for individuals from lower-income backgrounds.
The non-air-conditioned Amrit Bharat trains are designed to include 11 General Class coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 1 Pantry car, and 2 Second Class-cum-Luggage-cum-Guard Vans, as well as a compartment that is accessible for individuals with disabilities.
