MMRDA Invites Bids for Package 2/CA-295 of Mumbai Metro Line 4 & 4A

MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued bids for the Package 2/CA 295 of Mumbai Metro Line 4 & 4A. The Line 4 of Mumbai Metro spans 35.3 km from Wadala to Kasarvadavali featuring 32 stations. Line 4A is the extension of  of Line 4 which spans  2.7 km from Kasarvadavali to Gaimukh through 2 stations.

The awarded contractor will be responsible for deploying several systems for Line 4 & 4A.

  • power supply & traction system for Line 
  • Electrical & mechanical (E&M) system
  • Lifts and escalators for Line 4 & 4A

Contract Scope of Work: Design, manufacture, supply, installation ,integration, testing and commissioning of power supply and traction ,electrical & Mechanical and lifts & Escalators including 5 years of comprehensive maintenance after 2 years of defect liability maintenance period for Mumbai Metro Line 4 & Extension Corridor (4A) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA. 

Recently, Alstom Transport also received a major order for rolling stock of Mumbai Metro Line 4. Alstom will supply 39 driverless trainsets and a CBTC Signalling solution, along with 5 years of maintenance services for Mumbai Metro Line 4. To know more about this news: Click Here.
