NHSRCL Opens Bids for Alignment Design & Survey Works of Delhi – Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project

NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): RITES and Three other firms have emerged as the lowest bidders for 4 packages over the past 2 weeks to help prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the upcoming 886 km Delhi – Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project which will connect both cities with 12 stations on the corridor.
NHSRCL had invited tenders (bids) for these four packages with varying lengths of completion in early September which deal with preparing a final alignment design (including aerial LiDAR survey), carrying out a ridership (traffic) study, preparing General Arrangement Drawings and data collection surveying work.


Carrying Out Ridership Study (Traffic Study)Winner: T&T Consultants Private Ltd.

Period of Work: 120 Days

Final Alignment Design including Aerial LiDAR Survey Winner: RITES – Geokno JV

Period of Work: 150 Days

Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings Winner: Aakar Abhinav Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

Period of Work: 120 Days

Technical Bids Opened: September 22

Financial Bids Opened: November 4

Data Collection and Associated Survey Work for DPR Winner: Ceinsys Tech Ltd.

Period of Work: 120 Days

Technical Bids Opened: September 29

Financial Bids Opened: November 5

The project is a much awaited one among different High Speed Rail Corridors proposed to be developed in the country in the near future future.
