DELHI (Metro Rail News): Delhi-Gurgaon-Dharuhera Rapid Rail corridor will have an interchange at Hero Honda Chowk metro station. NCR Transport Corporation added the development after the Gurgaon Metro line was approved.
Earlier, it was separate from the RRTS planned project to have a station at Hero Honda Chowk. But the NCRTC- a joint venture company of the Government of India and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh added an underground interchange station at HH Chowk between the RRTS and Gurgaon Metro line.
“This interchange facility between the Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) and metro will ease connectivity issues for commuters. We will provide our land for the project,” said Vikas Danda (Estate officer, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran).
The rapid rail station will be constructed in Sector 33, said Danda on Friday.
