AN OVERVIEW
Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project with a distance of 508.17 km approved High-Speed Rail line from connecting Mumbai, Maharashtra & Ahmedabad, Gujarat by 12 stations at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.1 lakh cr.
National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) executed this project by Rs 88,087 cr loan from Japan at an interest of 0.1 per cent.
The total cost of the project is Rs 1.1 lakh crore in which the Government of Japan Funded (JICA) – Rs. 88000 cr, Government of India – Rs. 17,000 cr and Government of Maharashtra & Gujarat – Rs. 5000 cr.
