Timing
The operation, executed early on a Saturday morning between piers P11-P12 near the ISBT Metro Station, marked a significant milestone for the Phase 1 project. This line, covering 33.53 km and linking key areas like Palasia and the Airport, is vital for Indore’s connectivity.
Efficient Deployment Over Western Railways’ Tracks
Launching works over two tracks began at 12:15 am and concluded around 2 am within the allocated railway block. DBL’s precision in execution highlights its dedication to delivering infrastructure projects promptly and efficiently.
The Contract
Dilip Buildcon won the first contract for the Indore Metro in October 2018, worth Rs. 228.96 crore. They were supposed to build a 5.29 km viaduct between the ISBT/MR10 Flyover and Mumtaj Bag Colony within 27 months. However, it’s been 65 months, the project has been unfinished.
