Lucknow: The Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) approaches its March 2019 completion date, it is expecting a large amount of money to flow from the budget this year.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced that the Center will help Metro projects in the state. According to last year’s Budget, it is expected that Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation will obtain around Rs 2,000 crore in this fiscal year. This could be the biggest delivery so far. The funds are crucial to make imminent payments for the ongoing civil construction of the first phase of the 23km Metro corridor from the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport to the Munshipulia junction. The deadline for this broker is March 2019.
The project was approved by the Center in early 2016 and has received two sums so far- Rs.

The corridor has also begun construction of the high-cost airport stretch this year. The underground construction of Charbagh to the KD Singh Babu stadium, extends over the Gomti and at the TI junction, it will also need immediate funds.
