
Gujarat, India (Metro Rail News): National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has opened the financial bids for the design and construction of the 8 Km length of the viaduct in Gujarat. It also includes one HSR station at Vadodara for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.
Larsen and Toubro, a very well-known infrastructural giant, has emerged as the lowest bidder for the design and construction work of the 8 km long viaduct.
NHSRCL made an official statement that the financial bids of two technically qualified bidders were opened, and L&T is the lowest bidder.
NHSRCL is also the implementing agency of the 508 Km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project.
The 352 km of the project lies in the state of Gujarat, whereas 156 km lies in the state of Maharashtra. L&T is already engaged for the execution of 325km length through its two packages awarded to them. Out of 352 km, L&T has a civil contract of 343 km.
