Jammu and Kashmir, India (Metro Rail News): BJP MP from Poonch district of Jammu region, Jugal Kishore, has raised the demand for the extension of Jammu Metro Rail from Bari-Brahmana to AIIMS Vijaypur in his parliamentary constituency. Jugal Kishore raised this issue in the Lok Sabha after abrogating articles 370 and 35A. He stated that Jammu and Kashmir are experiencing tremendous development after reviewing articles 370 and 35A.
Development is visible in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. He also discussed that DPR’s of two significant Metro rail projects for Jammu and Kashmir would be completed soon. He also requested to the Ministry of Urban Development that DPR for the metro rail project will get finalized very soon.

The route from Bantalab to Bari Brahmana will be finalized but a short distance from Bari-Brahmana station to All India institute of medical sciences, Jammu is still not considered.
He also said that the metro from Bari-Brahmana should be extended up to AIIMS so that the people and staff can easily avail the benefits of the services provided.
