DELHI (Metro Rail News): KEC International Limited, a major Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) multinational company, wins new orders of worth INR 1,429 Crores across its various businesses –

Transmission & Distribution (T&D) –

The Company secured orders of Rs. 701 crores for T&D projects from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) and other customers in India, East Asia Pacific and the Americas.

Railways –

The Company has secured orders of Rs. 366 crores in the emerging segments in India-

  • Semi High-Speed Rail – Order for 2 x 25 kV Overhead Electrification (OHE) & associated works for speed upgradation.
  • Tunnel Ventilation – Order for tunnel ventilation system and associated works.

Civil –

The Company has secured orders of Rs. 318 crores from reputed private players for infra works in the cement, residential and metals & mining segments in India.

Cables –

The Company has secured orders of Rs. 44 crores for various types of cables in India and overseas.

According to Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, the company’s current year order inflows have exceeded Rs 11,000 crores with these orders.

KEC International Limited is part of RPG Group, a US$3.6 billion conglomerate engaged in various businesses such as infrastructure, tyres, information technology, Pharmacy and speciality.
