BANGALORE (Metro Rail News): The KR Pura-Byappanhahalli stretch of the Bangalore metro got clearance from CMRS, this Monday. It’s gonna provide seamless connectivity to the people, especially to Whitefield.
As per BMRCL estimates, this would increase the footfall from 50,00-60,000 as the line becomes operational. Once both the sections, namely, KR Pura-Baiyappanhali & Kengri-Challaghatta, are opened, the 44Km-long Purple Line will become fully operational, providing easy & efficient commutation between Whitefield & Challaghatta.
