New Delhi (Metro Rail News): It has been almost five months of a complete shutdown of metro services across the country has created an unprecedented disruption of business for the operators.
In an interview, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director Mangu Singh is reported to have discussed the financial and operational challenges for Delhi’s transport lifeline and the future of mass rapid transport systems.
He said that the outlets running on the metro premises are not being able to pay them as their businesses have been stuck off for the entire period of time ranging between March to august which is around more than 140 days now.
