For this, the environmental and social baseline knowledge will be collected on all the proposed stretches at selected areas.
A Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) official mentioned, “The final date to submit the bid is April 25. The bid will be opened on April 26. The awarded agency has to hold out a survey within two weeks.”

After the project was announced in 2022-2023 budget, the JMRC started the exercise. Under this project, the JMRC has planned the construction of a 2 km elevated stretch connecting Mansarovar and a 200-feet bypass at Ajmer Highway. This project is estimated to cost Rs 400 crore.

In the proposal, it was stated that it’s going to provide connectivity to commuters from Ajmer Highway, Vaishali Nagar and close by localities. Under this project, the JMRC has proposed to construct just one station on Ajmer Highway because this location has potential as the majority of buses coming from Ajmer, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Delhi, and Ahmedabad stops here, therefore it’ll act as an interchange level for passengers.
