Indraprastha-Inderlok corridor to be integrated into Magenta Line
The under-construction Indraprastha-Inderlok corridor of Delhi Metro’s Phase IV will stretch 11.9 kilometres and will now be implemented as an extension of the Magenta Line instead of the originally proposed Green Line.
The change follows the recent sanction of the Phase V(A) corridor from RK Ashram to Indraprastha, which necessitated a realignment of line designations across the network. With this revision, the Magenta Line will extend to a total length of 88.4 kilometres, running all the way from Botanical Garden to Inderlok. This extension will make it the longest corridor in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation network.
