NCRTC Invites Bids for DDC Contract of Upcoming Namo Bharat Corridors

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has floated a tender for the appointment of Detail Design Consultant (DDC) for the upcoming Namo Bharat Corridors.

Contract Scope of Work: Engagement of Detail Design Consultant for finalization of technical parameters for future Namo Bharat Corridors.

The Public Investment Board (PIB) has recently approved two new Namo Bharat (RRTS) corridors that will connect Delhi with Gurgaon, Rewari, Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal. Together, these projects represent an estimated investment of around Rs 65,000 crore and will now be submitted to the Union Cabinet for final approval. 

The approved RRTS Corridors has been mentioned below:

The Delhi–Meerut RRTS corridor is currently the only operational Regional Rapid Transit System in India. The corridor spans 82 km connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. At present, a 55-km section between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South, comprising 11 stations, is operational.
