CMRS Inspects Patna Metro’s Priority Corridor 

PATNA (Metro Rail News): Patna Metro Rail Project progressed as Shri Janak Kumar Garg, Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety, inspected the Patna Metro Depot, rolling stock, and three stations of the Priority Corridor. The priority corridor of Patna Metro is a part of Line 2 which spans 14.45 km from Patna Junction to New ISBT.

The priority corridor of Patna Metro spans 6.49 km between Malahi Pakri and New ISBT featuring 5 stations. The 5 stations have been mentioned below: 

Stations: Malahi Pakri,Khemnichak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile, New ISBT.

Shri Janak Kumar Garg,  carried out a detailed inspection of the rolling stock, station infrastructure, and depot systems, with a strong focus on adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.

Following this, a high-level review meeting was convened with Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, IAS (Secretary, UDHD & MD, PMRCL), Smt. Abhilasha Sharma, IAS (AMD, PMRCL & Joint Secretary, UDHD), and other senior officials from PMRCL and DMRC.

The Patna Metro Project is a Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) which is currently under construction. Patna Metro Phase 1 consists of two lines.
