Gurugram ( Metro Rail News): Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) has announced a tender valued at INR 1286 Crores for the construction of the initial section of the new Gurugram Metro Line. This section will extend 15.221 kilometers from the Millennium City Centre to Sector 9.

Contract’s Scope Of Work
The contract’s scope of work includes the construction of a 15.221 km metro rail viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9.
The awarded contractor will also be responsible for the construction of a 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway and a ramp to the proposed depot in Sector 33.
Additionally, the contract excludes Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and Architectural finishing works of the Gurugram Metro Corridor between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City.
GMRL Brief Scope: Construction of Viaduct and 14 Elevated Stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9 (inclusive) from chainage (-)594 m to 12603 m, Spur to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km) and ramp to Depot at Sector 33 excluding PEB and Architectural finishing works of Gurugram Metro Corridor between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City (26.65 Km) and Spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 Km) with total 27 Stations.
About Gurugram Metro’s New Corridor
The complete length of this metro line will reach 28.8 kilometers, establishing connectivity between HUDA City Centre and Cyber City (Moulsari Avenue), encompassing a total of 27 stations along the route.
