Contract’s Scope of Work: “Design and Construction of Twin Tunnel (Up & Down Line) by Shield TBM from Shivaji Stadium station (excluding) to Central Secretariat station (excluding chainage 32334.986 to 32539.986 m. at Yuge Yugeen Bharat station) and Tunnel by Cut & Cover from Central Secretariat to Kartavya Bhawan and Two Underground Stations Namely Central Secretariat and Kartavya Bhawan Station with Entry/Exits & Connecting Subways for Central Vista Corridor of Phase-V(A) of Delhi MRTS (From Chainage 31380.200 to 34221.069 m.).
In December 2025, India’s Central Government’s Cabinet approved the Delhi Metro Phase 5A at an estimated cost of Rs. 12,014.91 Crore. The Phase 5A of Delhi Metro covers 3 extensions and spans 16 km. The details of the corridors have been mentioned below:
