MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority ( MMRDA) has invited bids for the  Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract of the Mumbai Monorail (Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk to Chembur).

Scope of Work: Invitation for Bids for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the Mumbai Monorail (Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk to Chembur)

Additionally, Clear Secured Services Private Limited has also received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the Supply of Manpower for maintenance activities of Rolling Stock machinery and Plant, Signalling, Communication, Stores and Procurement Department for the Mumbai Monorail Project from Chembur to Sant Gadge Maharaj Chow.

The Mumbai Monorail, India’s first monorail system, began operations in 2014 and spans 20 km from Chembur – Wadala – Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk, covering 17 stations. Fully elevated, it serves as a feeder link to suburban and metro lines. The cost of the project was Rs. 2,460 cr. (excluding taxes) and has been divided into two phases.
