Bidders for Pune Metro’s  Line 4 & 5’s PPP Transaction Advisor Contract

The contract includes the preparation of bid documents, concession agreements, and the conduct of the bidding process.

PUNE (Metro Rail News): Pune Metro Rail Development Authority (PMRDA) has unveiled the bidders for the Transaction Advisory Services for the Pune Metro project’s upcoming Line 4 (Civil Court – Loni Kalbhor) and Line 5 (Khadakwasla – Kharadi). 

Responsibility/Scope of Work

The scope of work under the contract includes reviewing financial parameters, examining the viability of both projects, helping prepare the Concession Agreement bid documents (RFQ and RFP), and conducting the bidding process for selecting the Concessionaire.

Tender 

PMRDA had invited bids for the same in November this year, with a two-year contractual period. The estimated cost of the project remains unknown. 

Bidders 

The bidders for the same are : 

  1. Almondz Global Securities Ltd.
  2. aXYKno Capital Services Ltd.
  3. Credible Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
  4. Spine Advisory Pvt. Ltd.

Further Developments 

The bids are expected to go through technical evaluation in the coming days to decide on the final contractor for the project. It will give us the name of the lowest bidder and the probable awardee. 

Line 4, Pune Metro 

The 18 km long Line-4 runs from Civil Court to Loni Kalbhor. It will act as the extension of line 3  (Hinjawadi – Civil Court). DMRC prepared its DPR. It also includes spurs to Saswad & Swargate.  

Line 5, Pune Metro 

The 25.65 km long Line-5 runs from Khadakwasla to Kharadi. It will built on a PPP model. UMTC prepared its DPR and shares a Common alignment with Line-4 for a distance of approximately 4.6 km between Pul Gate and Hadapsar (Magarpatta) on Solapur Road.
