BHOPAL, India (Metro Rail News): Madhya Pradesh government allocated Rs. 262 Crore for Bhopal and Indore metro project. On Tuesday finance minister Jagadish Devda presented the state budget of Rs. 2.42 Lakh Crore for this year.
According to the Sources in the last three years, the MP government has expanded RS. 475 Crore for the development of metro projects.
Madhya Pradesh Government spent a lot of money for the development of metro projects but they can’t achieve as per expectations but in this year MP government take an initiative of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” Mission which ensure people satisfactions and also increase the growth of public transportation- said by Jagadish Devda.
Recently, Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRC) has invited global tenders for the construction of seven stations of the Indore Metro Rail project. The construction of a bridge for the same section was given to Dilip Buildcon Ltd.

As part of the state government’s contribution, Rs. 900 Crore would go towards Smart City Mission and Rs. 262 Crore for the Metro Rail Project development.
