Aspiring candidates are being cheated by fraudsters via fake recruitment emails.
LUCKNOW (Metro Rail News): After the recent recruitment process of 183 (official, executive and non-executive) posts in Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), some fraudsters are trying to make money from job seeking candidates by circulating fake recruitment advertisements in the name of the company. In the past, many cases of cheating people through fake documents related to the appointment have been reported.
“This time, a person disguised as a UPMRC employee is misleading the candidates through fake e-mails and luring money to recruit for positions like Graduate Engineer Trainee, Senior Engineer, Junior Engineer in UP Metro. The email comprising a fake offer letter has also demanded Rs.50,000 in favour of the recruitment. A fake mobile number has also been given in the name of the company and the candidates have also been asked to contact it if there is any problem with the documents. UP Metro Rail Corporation has been reiterating time and again that all recruitment is done entirely on merit basis and candidates should beware of falling prey to any such fraud”, UPMRC appealed through a statement.

“This is the only website that’s operated by UPMRC and any other websites should not be trusted.
UPMRC appeals everyone to be vigilant and not trust any source of information rather than the official website www.upmetrorail.com, Facebook and Twitter account @OfficialUPMetro that have verified blue ticks”, the Metro Corporation has said.
