The NCRTC team conducted a trial operation through the Namo Bharat Train. The train began its journey with a low-speed run at 10 km/h from New Ashok Nagar on the down-line tracks. Furthermore, NCRTC announced the successful electrification of the section between New Ashok Nagar and Sarai Kale Khan.%u2022In February 2025, NCRTC initiated a trial run on an additional 6 km stretch between Meerut South and Shatabdi Nagar in Meerut.
