China continues the metro & railways projects in Beijing

Zhou Guanghui, Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office safety and quality department director said that Beijing has prepared for twenty-one rail projects that have a complete investment of CNY34bn ($4.8bn) in fixed assets in 2020.

CHINA (Metro Rail News): China has reportedly started the development work again on all the metro & railway projects that were discontinued because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Xinhua said that the Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office declared the resumption of works.

Zhou Guanghui, Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office safety and quality department director said that Beijing has prepared for twenty-one rail projects that have a complete investment of CNY34bn ($4.8bn) in fixed assets in 2020.

This also includes sixteen metro lines that cross the length of around 304.6 km and 5 railway projects crossing more than a distance of 132.1 km. Metro Line nineteen building site engineering Kou Dingtao figured that nucleic acid tests were taken out for 1,500 workers before they continued the development work.

China has reported 82,718 cases and almost 3,335 deaths before the epicentre of the outbreak. China’s National Health Commission informed that on 6th of April there are Thirty-two new cases of COVID-19 were approved in mainland China and all were imported cases.

Also, NHC added that China has recorded no deaths for the 1st time since the outbreak started. Entire cases of imported infections in the country now stand at 983. This week official disinfected terminal three at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport before it starts for travellers after around 2 months of closure.
